DJ Francis first got into DJing not long after discovering Cream in the mid-nineties. He was fascinated by the influence a DJ could have over a crowd, controlling the atmosphere through the selection of tunes and the order in which they were played. He wanted to learn the art for himself.

Teaching himself how to beat-match and mix, it didn’t take long before DJing became a real passion.

Over the years, DJ Francis has performed at local events, as well as events and festivals further afield. He has also promoted his own nights alongside close friends, playing at them and sharing line-ups with established names including Paul Bleasdale, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Trevor Fung, John Kelly, Mark Archer, Jonathan Ulysses, Smokin Jo, Jon Carter, Rocky and Diesel, among others.

Today, DJ Francis takes on a wide range of gigs, from open-format sets and private parties to selected events. With decades of experience and a genuine passion for music, he brings a wealth of knowledge, energy and experience to every event he plays.
